“When I asked Michele to take photographs of my nine year old daughter Paisley, she agreed and suggested my twenty-three year old daughter and I be in some of the photos. I was hesitant because I have doubts about my appearance and feel that I'm not very photogenic. I agreed to be in some of the photos, thinking I probably would not purchase any of the ones including me. When I reviewed the finished pictures I was pleasantly surprised. I knew that my daughters would look beautiful in their pictures, but I felt good about the photos of me, too! I purchased several photos of each daughter, some of them together (sisterly love!), many of the three of us, and even one of myself! The girls and I had a lot of fun posing for the pictures. Michele encouraged us to be ourselves and include special items in the photos, which made them very personal. I'm glad I decided to be in the photos with my daughters. It was a fun experience and I have more confidence about being photographed after seeing the results of our shoot. The right photographer takes the time to understand what you're looking for from your shoot...what hesitations you may have...and makes the extra effort to help you feel comfortable, which results in excellent photos. It's not all about cameras and editing programs...it's the personal effort and attention that makes the difference!”
