Let’s have a heart-to-heart…

I want to take a moment to reflect on our journeys, especially as women. We’ve all walked unique paths, filled with triumphs, trials, and transformations. And one common thread that often weaves through our stories, is the idea of cutting parts of ourselves off to fit into someone else’s mold.

When we were younger, many of us made sacrifices, sometimes unconsciously, in the pursuit of acceptance, belonging, or simply to please others. We conformed, we adapted, and we compromised our true selves.

But now, as the Silent Generation, Baby Boomers, Gen Xer’s and even some Millennials, we’ve learned that our strength lies in embracing our authentic selves. We’ve rediscovered the beauty in our individuality and the power in our uniqueness. It’s a pretty good feeling, isn’t it?

Let’s inspire our younger generations to be unapologetically themselves and remind them that there’s no need to cut off any part of who they are.

We have so much to say and our experiences and wisdom can be a guiding light for others.

My hope is that we’ll empower each other and the next generations to embrace our authenticity, just as we are now!

    1. That’s a hard realization, isn’t it? 🙁 Like you, I don’t remember a time I wasn’t thinking of what others needed me to be, and I think a lot of women have gone through this…may still be going through it. I hope through OUR journeys, we can help our kids and grandkids, girls AND boys, to not make themselves small for others. Sending you healing love!
